'Dark Horse' Video Altered After Islamic Protests

Katy Perry has surrendered in a holy war over supposedly blasphemous images in her "Dark Horse" video.

An Islamic group started an online petition demanding that YouTube pull down the video because a scene showed "disrespect" to the religion. The petition hit the 50,000-signature mark in a matter of hours, leading Katy and YouTube to make a small but significant edit that removed visual references to Allah -- a move that satisfied the protestors.

Protest leader Shazad Iqbal posted a note saying, "I'm thrilled to let you all know the name of Allah has been removed from the 'Dark Horse' video. We couldn't have done it without everyone's support, so I thank each and every one of you deeply. Our voices have been heard."
