Like most people, I love my phone. I feel rather naked without it. Just knowing that its settled all nice and comfy in my purse makes me feel a little more secure. I left it at home today and actually asked to borrow my husband's cell phone before he, very kindly, yet suppressing a smirk, pointed to the landline in front of my face. Cell phones have become so ingrained in our culture that watching movies made before cells seem antiquated. I mean, how did people live without constantly being able to communicate with each other?
But my phone does so much more than call people! I have games and blogs and texts and all kinds of things on my phone and successfully waste lots of my time. I could decry the downfall of humanity or something like that, but I'd rather see how my Enchanted Realm is doing, while I text my mother yet another picture of my daughter.
Speaking of my daughter, she is the main reason I now love my phone more than ever. Back when she was getting up two to three times a night, my phone was both my night light and my entertainment during feedings. I've got her entire life documented in photos on my phone. And now that she's older, my phone is my last ditch effort in entertaining her. She loves the camera. So much so, that my photo gallery looks something like this:
But she's rather hard on my poor cell phone, so I need to find the most indestructible phone case ever. Any ideas?
