Kanye West Under Fire For Kazakhstan Performance

he Human Rights Foundation are at odds with Kanye West.

The Foundation thought Kanye's performance at the wedding of the grandson of Kazakhstan's president Nursultan Nazarbayev on Saturday was in bad taste.

The Associated Press reports that the country has been known to suppress citizen's rights and reportedly kidnap family members of opposing political parties to keep power. The Human Rights Foundation President calls the nation a "human rights wasteland".

West isn't the only artist to be reprimanded for such a performance, earlier this summer Jennifer Lopez was under fire for singing at a private concert for the president of Turkeminstan. Her publicist later claimed she was unaware of the county's reputation.

West's publicist has yet to respond.
