Ye Gads It's Gonna Be Hot This Week

You know summer has finally hit when we've reached July in the Napa Valley and temperatures reach past 100 and this year is certainly no exception.  A heatwave is slamming us not only here but throughout the Southwest.  Temperatures are expected to be exceedingly high in the Bay Area ranging from mid-70's in San Francisco to 113 in Sacramento!  Like many of you, my home is not air-conditioned and this seems the perfect opportunity to share some tips on how to survive the heat without air conditioning.  You can check out the complete list here but some of the highlights include the obvious – drink lots of cold water, don't wear socks and one of my favorites – don't cook, order in And please – don't leave any living creature in your car, kids included!  So this week as your're surviving the heat check on your neighbors, look out for the animals and share some cold water if you have some to spare … and chill out with some Sauvignon Rock on 99.3 THE VINE!
