Nothing says romantic commitment better than telling a concert audience how great your girlfriend is. In front of 23,000 people Saturday in Milwaukee, on the first date of his Born and Raised tour, John Mayer did just that, sharing his feelings (without using the "L"-word) for on-again / off-again lover Katy Perry.
By way of leading into his song "My Face to Call Home," Mayer called Perry "more incredible than I ever thought," and praised her for her kindness during the many months he was obliged to rest his voice. "She was so patient...to continue to get to know me and love me." He then said, "I want to dedicate this next song to my Katy, who is my face to call home."
