A carpenter who lost parts of several fingers in an accident on the set of Adam Sandler'sThat's My Boy now wants more than a million bucks in compensation.
Richard Houpert was working on the set of the comedy flop when he says his hand was pulled into a table saw that was not properly fitted with safety guards. He lost the tips of the fingers on his right hand and suffered multiple fractures, which he says cost him considerable income.
Besides Sandler and his Happy Madison Productions, Houpert is suing Sony, Columbia Pictures and Black and Decker. He wants a jury trial.
