Paula Deen Fires Lawyers

Paula Deen has just tossed another group off her sinking ship -- her lawyers.

Days after firing her longtime agent, the Southern-fried chef has given the boot to the Oliver Maner legal firm, which was defending her against a lawsuit filed by the former manager of her Uncle Bubba's Seafood and Oyster House. A source close to Deen tells People magazine, "She and her team decided the previous attorneys were out of their depth."

Paula has hired a top labor attorney from Washington, D.C. and an entertainment lawyer who's also represented the often difficult Keith Olberman.
