Justin Timberlake Leads MTV Video Music Award Nominees

Justin Timberlake and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have been duking it out on the charts all year, and they'll square off again at this year's MTV Video Music Awards -- where they each stand a chance at taking home six trophies.

Bruno Mars follows the leaders closely with four VMA nominations, while PinkRobin ThickeMiley Cyrus and Thirty Seconds to Mars each notched three. This year's winners will be presented with a special Moonman trophy, re-designed for this year only, that honors the host city of Brooklyn, New York.

The ceremony will air live on August 25th.
