'American Idol' Tour Opener Bombs

The American Idols Live tour opened in Kent, Washington on Friday night -- with a whimper, not a bang.

Even though VIP ticket prices were slashed to $20, the finalists performed to a crowd that filled less than half of the 6500 seat venue, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Those who did show up seemed to give the biggest thumbs-up to Kree Harrison and Angie Miller.

The annual tour has already been cut back considerably -- with 10 of its 40 dates cancelled shortly after they were announced.
