Bsckstreet Boy Nick Carter Crowd-Funding Directorial Debut

Nick Carter is using crowd-funding to try to scare up some cash for his next project -- a horror movie based on a script he's been working on for ages.

The Backstreet Boy is trying to raise $85,000 to get the cameras rolling on Evil Blessings, which he also plans to star in. He says it's "about three friends who go up to the the mountains to hunt, but soon discover they are the ones being hunted by an ancient family of evil."

He's offering a number of incentives on the IndieGoGo site, including personalized tweets, thank-you credits, Backstreet Boys tickets and, if you have six grand lying around, a role in the movie itself.
