Adam Levine is hoping to keep you glued to the tube for another half-hour every week -- with an "autobiographical" sitcom that he's sold to NBC.
Adam, who's one of the main draws on The Voice, is crafting the show with longtime pal Gene Hong, a writer on the hit series Community. Levine and Hong were roommates when both were struggling to make it, and the show is said to be based on that relationship.
The pair came close to getting a sitcom on the air two years ago, but NBC ultimately passed on that idea -- a Cheers-type show set in a karaoke bar.
