He may not be a "boy" anymore, but Boy George is finally ready to resume his recording career -- and has a new album coming in October.
The former Culture Club frontman has set a release date of October 29th for This Is What I Do, his first full-length offering in 18 years. George, who's putting the disc out on his own label, says, "I wanted to make a baggy album, not over-produced, and I think I have achieved it. I was listening to things like 'Beast of Burden' by The Rolling Stones, and I had my head most definitely in the '70s."
George is planning a British tour in November, but as of now, he's still unable to perform in the States due to a drug conviction he racked up several years ago.
