Christine McVie has agreed to a brief reunion with Fleetwood Mac.
Stevie Nicks broke the news this afternoon (Friday) in a BBC radio interview, saying that Christine would perform one song at two concerts. "She is going to come and do a song on the second two shows. I think it will probably be 'Don't Stop.' I don't know, but she's coming to Ireland to rehearse with us." Nicks didn't specify which dates the shows would be -- and a Fleetwood Mac spokesperson could not confirm the details.
Christine, who retired from the band in 1998 -- more than 20 years after breaking up with husband and bandmate John McVie -- has refused reunion offers ever since. Stevie says Christine still hates to fly and, for that reason, won't work with the band in North America.
Nicks' complete interview for The Women's Hour program will air Monday at 5 a.m. ET.
