Amy Winehouse Foundation Commemorates Singers 30th Birthday With Fundraisers

Amy Winehouse would have turned 30 this month,  and the Amy Winehouse Foundation has been commemorating her with a series #Amy30 fundraising events around London -- including the launch of a five-day pop-up store this Thursday in the Camden neighborhood of London, where she lived.

The shop will feature not only official Foundation merchandise and her entire music catalog, but:

  • Limited-edition prints from Mr. BingoDarren West and -- from The Specials, one of Amy's favorite bands -- Horace Panter.
  • Exclusive Puma trainers signed for #Amy30 by celebrities such as actor Idris Elba and singers Paloma FaithLabrinth and Emile Sande.
  • A limited range of Fred Perry archive pieces from the collections designed by Amy herself
  • Specially selected clothing inspired by Amy's style, from Rokit Vintage, one of the local stores she regularly shopped at.
  • An exclusive tattoo by designed by Henry Hate, who created some of Amy’s best-known tats.
  • A five-minute "Back to Black" lesson from Gibson Guitars.

There's also a mass parachute jump fundraiser being held in Camden on September 30th, the last day of the pop-up store. The good news for Amy's fans outside London is that starting in October, the shop moves online to AmyWinehouseFoundation.org.
