Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres is off the band's tour again after undergoing another surgery.
Torres, who underwent an emergency appendectomy two weeks ago, experienced more pain in his abdomen and underwent gall bladder surgery over the weekend. Bon Jovi ended up performing at the Rock in Rio festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil with New Jersey native Rich Scannella filling on drums. Scannella will fill in for Torres until his doctors clear him to play.
Jon Bon Jovi said in a statement, "Tico Torres has been the heart and soul of our band since we started 30 years ago. He's also one tough SOB, and we look forward to him again pounding away brilliantly at the drums on remainder of this and future tours."
Bon Jovi have three more dates on their South American tour and will kick off a North American leg on October 2nd in Vancouver.
