Move over, Randy Jackson -- there's a new manager in town. After parting ways with her former American Idol cohort, Mariah Carey has signed Jermaine Dupri to guide her career.
Mariah and Dupri have collaborated on numerous tracks over the past 10 years, including the mega-hit “We Belong Together" from the 2005 multi-platinum album The Emancipation of Mimi. She says, "We have a bond that surpasses music. I am super excited about our merger because we have so many innovative ideas that I know will come to fruition."
Originally scheduled to come out this past summer, Mariah’s 14th album, The Art of Letting Go, was postponed and isn't on the release schedule.
