The U.K. branch of Amazon.com has released a list of its all-time best sellers to coincide with its 15th anniversary -- and Adele, Coldplay and The Beatles top the table.
Adele's 21 and 19 are the top two most-purchased albums, and her singles "Skyfall" and "Someone Like You" are the second and fourth most-downloaded single MP3s. The song that beat out Adele as the top download will surprise you. It's Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name," which was boosted into the number-one slot by a Christmastime promotional campaign in 2009.
Kings of Leon appear on both the overall and album Top 10s. They land at number-seven overall -- just ahead of Snow Patrol and Muse -- and Only by the Night is number-six on the albums list -- followed by Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Mumford and Sons' Sigh No More. Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" is the number-eight MP3 single.
