There have been a lot of news stories about Detroit's problems lately, but there's someone out there who sees the upside to Motown -- Michael Bolton.
He's working on a documentary about the comeback of the decaying city, which he says is poised for a major turnaround. He tells Michigan's MLive.com, "We were allowed to bring some of our cameras in and film some of the process of rebuilding Detroit from the center out. And besides what they've done already, what the plans are are staggering. It's phenomenal. What I see in Detroit is this kind of love and loyalty -- through the best times and the hardest times. And I love seeing that, and I love a comeback story."
Bolton has already interviewed Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson and many local business leaders for the film, which he hopes to complete by early spring.
