Some good news-bad news for Kanye West fans. In particular, the ones Down Under.
The good news? It has been announced that the rapper will be heading back into the studio to work on his next album. The bad news? Kim Kardashian's significant other must delay his trip to Australia, where he was scheduled to perform a series of shows as part of hisYeezus tour.
"Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia," read a statement posted to Roc Nation's website. "The tour dates originally scheduled from May 2 to May 11, 2014, will now be played from September 5 to September 15, 2014. All tickets for the initially scheduled shows will be honored for the new dates."
Last month, West's creative house Donda officially partnered up with Jay Z's Roc Nation to manage its music division. The collaboration focuses on West's recording brand and worldwide touring ventures.
West launched Donda—which is named after his mother, Donda West—back in January 2012.
