U2 bassist Adam Clayton says they're almost done recording their next album and that they hope to have it completely finished by the end of the summer.
But that doesn't mean for sure that it'll be out this year. Clayton says, "We're very excited about it and we obviously want to get it out as quickly as possible, but I don't want to preempt anything until I actually know it's finished."
U2 have been working on this project for several years, at sessions in Dublin, where they are now, and in New York. They were originally hoping to have the album out this summer. Their last release was 2009'sNo Line on the Horizon.
