Mel Gibson's Battery Charges Likely To Be Thrown Out

Mel Gibson is going to have a good day in court later this month when a judge is expected to throw out his 2011 battery conviction stemming from an incident in which he struck his then-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

The actor's lawyer filed legal documents with the judge, claiming that he's completed all of the judge's requirements -- including 16 hours of community service and a year's-worth of counseling. He also recently completed three years of probation. The judge is expected to throw out the conviction and his criminal record will be expunged. (TMZ)
