At least 36 people attending Swedish DJ Avicii's concert at Boston's TD Garden were rushed to area hospitals Wednesday night.
Per NBC News, authorities said the injuries were from dehydration and suspected drug and alcohol abuse. Fifty more partygoers were reportedly treated at the scene, and according to NBC affiliate NECN, the ages of people requiring medical assistance ranged from 16 to 25.
"I think it was dehydration or something like that but, I'm not too sure, but there has been a lot of ambulances showing up and taking some people away on stretchers," one concert-goer said.
Another described the scene to NECN, saying, "People were jumping up-and-down, some people tripped, some people may have hurt their ankles. And of course they need ambulances to help them out."
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
Understandably, though, Avicii (whose real name is Tim Bergling) was upset to hear of fans' sustaining injuries at his show. "Just hearing the awful news abt tonight," he tweeted Thursday morning. "Its a terrible thing, I rly hope everyone is ok! My thoughts go to those affected & their families."
