        Researchers in Denmark said people in their study who drank three to four times a week are significantly less likely to develop diabetes than people who never drink.
They said people who drank red wine saw the biggest benefit, but they do warn not to go overboard.
Finding women who drink seven or more hard alcoholic drinks a week are at an increased risk.
