About Barry Martin:

Barry Martin is our “Mr Jeopardy” who knows everything about everything. He has a remarkable media career working in Radio & TV as host/anchor.

Barry Martin came to Napa in 1986 to work for KVON/KVYN. After starting out as a DJ on The Vine, he went on to become Program Director and Operations Manager for both stations until 2001. In that year, Barry began working as the Public Information Officer for the Napa River Flood Project, and continued as morning show host on KVON until 2003. He spent the next 13 years doing public information, including nine years as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the City of Napa. In 2017, he was working in government as the City of Napa’s PIO helping navigate the “flood project;” after the devastating wildfires of that year and with new ownership at Wine Down Media he embarked on a news/talk show on KVON. A new lifeline for the community in times of disaster or not. In 2022, the morning show, “Wine Country Live,” re-vamped and moved to sister station KVYN.

Barry Martin Co-Founded the theatre company Lucky Penny Productions with Taylor Bartolucci, and together they produce plays and musicals at the Lucky Penny Community Arts Center in Napa. Barry is also an author of plays and has had his work chosen twice for short-play festivals.

He is the father of two Napa-raised kids, and has three grandchildren.

About Cara Mae Wooledge:

Cara Mae Wooledge A) was born and raised in Stockton, California B) moved to Napa in 2007 C) has hula hooped while riding a paddle board D) all of the above.

If you answered “D”, you are correct about the Wine Country Live Quiz Queen!

When Cara Mae is not quizzing Barry over the airwaves, she is at your service as the Executive Director of the Napa Farmers Market. Cara Mae believes the Napa Farmers Market is an essential resource that encourages us to grow community around the joy of local food.

Cara Mae earned a BA in Political Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Master in Public Health from UCLA. She was voted “Most Enthusiastic” by her Leadership Napa Valley Class 27 (Best Class Ever!), and before that she was voted “Most Likely to Start A Revolution” by her Lincoln High School senior class peers.

About Taylor Bartolucci:

Taylor Bartolucci is a 4th Generation Napa Native who grew up roaming vineyards, singing at the top of her lungs and participating in every extra-curricular activity she could get her hands on. Her schooling took her to Los Angeles, but she eventually returned home after earning a BA in Theatre Arts from Pepperdine University and a Certificate Degree in Viticulture and Enology from U.C. Davis.

She is a feisty one, who finds her sanity in working out and being outdoors. Her favorite place on the planet is Lake Tahoe, but anywhere laughing with friends is a close second. She is the proud and lucky mom to two incredible littles (Rocco & Gia), co-Founder of Lucky Penny Productions (with Barry Martin), and also works for her family Winery, Madonna Estate. She has spent her life entertaining people, whether on stage in dramas or musicals, winning the T&C Fair Karaoke Contest, or here on The Vine.

She has been part of numerous local organizations including Leadership Napa Valley, The Kiwanis Club of Napa, The Napa Valley Vintners, served as a Commissioner for the Parks and Recreation Department, and more. She tends to make up her own words, say what’s on her mind, hates to be wrong and thinks Happy Hour is the best hour of the day!
