I was privileged to join the 100 Women Who Care chapter for Napa Valley – we raised more than $17,000 in just one hour at the inaugural event on April 3rd.  What a fantastic idea that I predict will sweep the Napa Valley and make a difference for non-profts who strive to make a difference year-rouund!

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and COPE kicked it off with the Blue Ribbon abuse training, luncheon and ribbon tying ceremony. 99.3 The Vine & 1440 KVON were proud sponsors and join in the chorus that says “Enough!”

And I found a 10K that takes me inside penitentiary grounds at Folsom’s Run With Nature in May.  With some organic carrot juice to give me energy as I step up my miles and speed!  Training has commenced!
