I have had the pleasure of working with some very talented people in the radio industry over the years. That pleasure continues with the current on-air staff at 99.3 The Vine and 1440 KVON. We are certainly not the largest radio market (which is the way we like it!) but we have major market talent on these stations that I am priveledged to manage.

Our most recent addition is Big Rick Stuart who, like I, enjoyed a long career in San Francisco radio. He lives here in the Napa Valley now and is immersing himself in our beautiful valley. Rick is a genuine and gifted DJ. He has worked many formats and has always found a way to connect with his audience in a very personal way. A true star, although he is too humble to admit that!

Rick joins our team that includes Bob of The Good Morning Bob Show. Bob had recently taken over the morning show at The Vine when I arrived and he has developed into a top notch morning host. You cannot manufacture personality… Bob has it in spades! His enthusiasm and pure joy comes through the speakers every morning!

Mindi is a noticable presence in afternoon drive. Again, oodles of personality. What you hear when Mindi speaks… is Mindi! She is genuine, fun and totally connected to the Napa Valley. Couldn't be more pleased to have here on the air!

Finally, there is the stalwart Ira C. Smith. Where do I begin? Ira has been at 1440 KVON as long as my entire career in the radio industry (40 years!). Ira is Napa. Ira is Sports. No one is his equal in passion for Napa Valley sports. Again, I am humbled to be working with a legend.

It is my hope that you will share my joy in hearing these extremely talented people on your two local radio stations.
