How Many Jobs Do You Have?

I remember when I would read about workers holding down one full time job plus one or two more part time jobs just to make ends meet or to try and get ahead.  For most of my life that’s what I’ve done.  Even now I have three jobs. The recession, you know.  I’ve scrambled to make the most of the opportunities I’ve been given. I’m grateful that I love every job that I have.  That’s not always been the case.  But it seems that the younger generation is moving away from working only for the sake of having a job or staying in a full time job if it isn’t fulfilling.  They are adjusting their lifestyle so they can follow their passion now … and a part time job gives them the time to do it.  I think there’s something to be said for this mindset:  Love your life today in work and lifestyle. They may very well be the happier years from now for making those choices today.
