How Many Miles Does Your Car Have?

No big surprise that more of us are driving cars that have 100,000 miles or more.  My Hyundai Accent has more then 250,000 miles.  But are you more trusting of your auto mechanic?  An article in AutoMD suggests this is the case.  We’re driving our cars longer and maintaining them better.  I’m fortunate that my husband can DIY a lot of the mechanical issues that arise.  But we have also been diligent with regular oil changes, and I’ve had all of the belts changed out twice as a preventative maintenance measure.  It seems to be working … for me and my little Hyundai Accent.  The picture is a somewhat dismal attempt of a car selfie … it doesn’t show the missing door handle on the drivers side.  But we’ve ordered a new one and at some point … we’ll replece it!
