An online auction of some of Napa Valley’s most sought-after wines, including a 3-liter double magnum of 1998 Screaming Eagle cabernet sauvignon, and travel experiences will benefit the St. Helena Cooperative Nursery School.

It’s called “A Good Thing Keeps Growing 30th Annual Fundraiser” online auction. Bidding starts at 8 a.m., Thursday, March 9 and continues until 10 p.m., Sunday, March 12.

Screaming Eagle, one of Napa Valley’s original cult wines, is never sold to the public and comes directly from owner Jean Phillips’ personal cellar, according to the auction catalog. The opening bid is $10,000 (but if you can’t wait, you can purchase it directly online for $25,000.)
UPDATE – It sold for $25,000!!!

The auction includes Harlan, Scarecrow, Pritchard Hill, Thomas Rivers Brown, and a 100 point collection
